I have no idea what we are supposed to be doing. I assume we continue commenting on everyone's blogs, but there are still not a lot of people with their stuff up to view. I am also wondering what we are supposed to be doing for the final class next week. Anyone know?

Our papers were due today, but a lot of people did not get it done, so we did not have to turn them in today if they were not done. Luckily, my paper is done finally so I just wanted to turn it in and forget about it for now. We went to a presentation by JJ Weiss on Portraits of People Who Never Were. I found the artwork to be a bit creepy. It reminded me of the Fatal Frame game ghosts I have to fight.

I am working hard on my research paper on World of Warcraft, since Facebook was taken. Hopefully everyone is doing fine. I also hope I am doing fine on this paper. I hope I can actually get up to five single-spaced pages.

We are back face-to-face today. We talked about the three main social networks and we were told to draw our interpretion of our own social network. We were assigned our research papers today. Oh great this means I have at least two of these papers due in two weeks. I want to write about World of Warcraft. I think that would be interesting to write about. However, if World of Warcraft is not appropriate for this research paper, then I hopw I can get to write about Facebook since I am online for that almost 24/7.

Today I gave my presentation on RTM ark. And I did well on it, YAY!!! Now its on to a lot of reading for the next class 3 weeks from now and catching up on these blogs. I just hope that being late on some of the blogs doesn't affect my grade too much.

Here we are again face-to-face for class after 2 weeks. We

discussed the Movement in Art. It goes from Dada, Surrealism,

Pop Art, Conceptual Art, Video Art, Post Modernism, New Media, to

Net Art. We also got assigned our artist for our research project. I

originally got assigned Jennifer and Kevin McCoy. However, I did not

understand the art, so I chagned mine assignment to RTM ark. We

also created our Delicious account to post our bookmarks for our artist

research project.

Well we didn't have class face-to-face today. However, I tried doing the reading we were assigned to do. I just could not follow it well enough to understand it. I also found it kind of boring.

Okay I don't know why but I am only able to get into this account every so often even when I try. For some reason it seems like I have 2 accounts: this one with the blog and my gmail one without a blog. I try logging into this one multiple times and it says either account doesn't exist or wrong password. After I try getting in multiple times without success, I finally get in. I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?

We started taking notes on what cyberspace is and the early history landmarks in computer technology. We also learned about cyberduck even though I missed most of this part because I was not feeling well.

Today was the first class of Digital Media Culture for the semester. We mostly talked about the syllabus and what we were going to learn in this class. We made our blog accounts. This class sounds like a fun one.
